It took awhile for this mix to take shape and make some kind of sense… But it finally did - just this morning, in fact - and instead of looking at this in a linear manner, I stepped back. And in stepping back, I was able to pull all the threads of love/distrust, want/fear, and sorrow/understanding together in my brain.

Now I dig this mix all the way.

p.s. - the Mirah song has a singular ‘sir’ in there but the rest of the song is so damn great/fitting that I do not care. You shouldn’t care either.

This is an odd mix that I have grown to love, lol. It’s like looking at Utena from the inside-out & this gaze is a rather bittersweet one. But I suppose that’s how I view Utena in a lot of ways; she is a mass of hard realizations and weary determination.

And! There’s an instrumental track but I think it works quite well.

p.p.s. - could not get rid of that tiny skip in ‘Wise Up.’ such is life.
