kleptomaniacs make better lovers

So, I wanted to watch Desert Hearts (again) and just now noticed that the last song played in the film is ‘I Wished On the Moon’…….. which just happens to be the song that Kate first sings at Leon’s club (and I call it Leon’s club because I have no idea what that place is actually called).

Oh you know the tune, I am sure - where Kate keeps stealing supportive glances at Betty and then ends the song with pointing right at Betty (which turns Betty into a pile of loved-up mush).

Is it coincidence? I THINK NOT! ;)
